This Saturday, the ninth and final day of the qualifying phase of the NJPW Super Jr. Tag League 2022 took place. Several teams arrived with options to reach the next round, but finally it was Ace Austin and Chris Bey on the one hand, and Lio Rush and YOH for another, those who got the pass to the grand final.
At the end of today’s event, both teams had a confrontation in the ring and now we only have to wait until next Wednesday, December 14 to find out which team wins the NJPW Super Jr. Tag League 2022 and gets a chance for the Championship for Junior Heavyweight Couples currently holding Catch 2/2 (TJP and Francesco Akira).
Ace Austin and Chris Bey are part of the BULLET CLUB and represent IMPACT Wrestling. Throughout the tournament they have collected 14 points out of 18 possible, just like Lio Rush and YOH, who are part of CHAOS. This coming Wednesday we will know who the tournament champions are.
