Impact Wrestling celebrated last night new recordings of its weekly show at the Promowest Pavilion at Ovation in Newport, KY. During the session, several matches were announced for Slammiversary , the annual pay-per-view event taking place on June 19 at the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, TN.
One of the most shocking announcements of the fight was confirmed when the celebration of the first fight with Queen of the Mountain stipulation was announced . This match, historically known as King of The Mountain, is an Impact Wrestling classic in which five opponents compete in a ladder match, where the winner must hang up the t**le rather than take it back.
Gail Kim made an appearance during the recordings to make the announcement and confirm the participants of the fight: Jordynne Grace, Tasha Steelz, Mia Yim, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie .
In addition to this match, it was confirmed that Eric Young will have a starting opportunity at Slammiversary for the company’s World Championship. This happened after winning the Gauntlet for the Gold to get a starting shot. Not many details have been revealed about it, so we are waiting for Impact Wrestling to confirm more details in the coming weeks.
