In the world of professional wrestling, there have been many match stipulations that have a history of violence, such as Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber. Many of them came to exist because was one match that took years off of many wrestlers, and that match is War Games.
War Games is a Dusty Rhodes creation inspired by the movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. There have been countless War Games-style matches over the years, but when it comes to the match, WCW and are the companies that fans think of when they think of the match.
